Stream

Welcome! Stream is a collaborative project by Tom Macfadyen and Eva Magdić Govedarica. We like to use digital media in ways it wasn't designed. Inspired by the techniques of glitch art, Stream is an experimental audio visual film that explores the destructive characteristics of the digital world through file sharing, databending, organ improvisation, field recording, poetry and Family Guy... It's quite the mix so proceed with caution!

My fascination with moving images occurred when my dad introduced me to the magical world of The Lord Of The Rings. Subsequently, I decided I will be the next Peter Jackson.
Over the past nine years I’ve been making short films both in Croatia and Scotland and participated in international film festivals as an author, volunteer and a jury member. Currently I’m studying BA Film at Edinburgh Napier University with a particular obsession for experimental filmmaking. Until the budget for the next Lord Of The Rings comes through I expect that reflections, distortions and surrealist plots is all my camera will be catching.

Tom Macfadyen

I am a composer/audio-visual artist currently studying composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I started playing guitar at a young age and have been writing music ever since. I am interested in forcing material to their extremes and observing their outcomes, like some deranged evil scientist. I have worked with acoustic instruments and electronic sound and have a particularly bad habit of constantly collaborating with filmmakers, contemporary artists/performers, and instrumentalists.
